During my healthy journey, I’ve been intentional these days in bringing more of a healthy balance to my diet. My main focus that has been extremely important, is for me to get in my greens. At times this has been a real challenge when I’m always on the go and working. I tend to get what is convenient and not always the healthiest. Even if it’s right from my kitchen!
To ensure that I get my nutrients in for the day, I like to start most of my mornings off with a green smoothie. There are so many variations of making green smoothies and my favorite is milk base along with tropical sorts of fruits like pineapples or mango for example. Now we can’t forget the main ingredients that give this smoothie its beautiful bright green color….. which are Spinach, Kiwi, and Avocado which are filled with all kinds of healthy minerals and vitamins.
I don’t always feel like cooking first thing in the mornings so my next favorite part about this recipe is that you can make this ahead and freeze it. so when you are ready for something quick and convenient, just take it out of the freezer the night before and place it in the fridge.

Tips on making this Recipe:
- For a nice cold creamy smoothie, I like to freeze my Bananas, Avocados, and Pineapples. by doing this I can omit the ice and not worry about the ice watering down my smoothie.
- Try blending in sections by blending the Milk, Spinach, and Banana first then add in the rest of the ingredients.

- Blender
Ingredients
- 1 cup Spinach
- ½ cup Pineapple Chunks
- ½ Banana
- ½ Kiwi optional
- ½ cup Avocado
- 2 tbsp. Honey
- 1 cup Almond Milk (unsweetened)
- 1 tbsp. Chia Seeds
Instructions
- Add all Ingredients in the blender and blend for one minute of until all ingredients are well blended into a creamy liquid.
- Pour into a glass and Enjoy!
