Making the Perfect Pineapple Delight Tips
Although this Pineapple Delight recipe is super easy to make, I’m sharing these tips that I’ve picked up along the way. For this recipe, we will be using the layering method and starting with the main ingredients like the cream cheese and pineapples.
- For easier mixing of cream cheese, whether you are using a stand mixer or hand mixer, it is recommended to let the cream cheese come to room temperature. Simply take two 8oz blocks and place them on a plate on your kitchen counter, unwrapped. Allow them to sit until they reach room temperature.
- When it comes to pineapples, I prefer using a can of crushed pineapples. The crushed pineapple size and texture are perfect, making it easier to distribute throughout the creamy filling. Be sure to drain the juice from the can into a small bowl as you will need it later for layering your dessert.
- Enjoy a lighter and fluffier dessert by using cool whip instead of heavy whipping cream. Simply fold the cool whip into a delicious mixture of cream cheese and pineapple. I have a good feeling you will love this pineapple goodness!
- After you have finished layering your dessert, for the absolute best results, place the pineapple delight dessert in the fridge overnight and serve the next day.
