My Biggest Support
Just 2 peas in a pod
I am definitely a southern girl born and raised right here in Sweet Home Alabama.
21 years ago I married the most wonderful human being Joseph better known as (Joe) who has always been my biggest supporter and encourages me to just go for whatever it is that I want to pursue.
We both enjoy eating good home-cooked meals and entertaining our family and friends. Now when it comes to food, Joe is very selective or a (picky) eater. Which has led me to be a little bit more creative. And since I’m constantly cooking and testing my recipes, the hubby graciously volunteers to try everything out first.
I’m quite sure he will make his appearance here and there as he does in our kitchen when he smells something good cooking! LOL
My Inspiration
The one who greatly inspires me the most is my mom. Have you ever heard the saying that the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree? Well….. it’s no secret that I have learned my way around the kitchen by watching my mom go to work and working long hours cooking for a living then coming home to prepare one of her delicious southern meals for me and my two younger siblings. As a way of me helping my mom with meals, I would start to watch everything my mom did in the kitchen just so I could master how she prepared all of her meals.
(I know my sister and brother will get me for saying this LOL) So out of the three of us, One of us was able to carry the cooking torch in the family.
