No Grill! then No Problem at all! With so many different ways to prepare this corn of the cob recipe such as on the stove top or even in the crockpot. But for this recipe, Oven Roasted is a favorite of mine. And since we are heading into the warmer months, I know that this will be the perfect side to have that’s easily paired with many main dishes. But first let’s dive into the ingredients.
Ingredients
- 4-5 Ears of Corn
- Butter or Olive Oil
- Cayenne Pepper
- Smoked Paprika
- Smoke Salt
- Black Pepper
- Honey
Toppings
- Feta Cheese (optional)
- Parsley
How to Make
- For this recipe I bought 5 ears of corn that were already husk free. In a bowl filled with cold water add corn and begin to remove any remaining silk.
- In a small bowl add all the seasonings and mix all together.
- Next melt butter in a medium to large skillet. Add in half the seasoning mixture. Add ears of corn and rotate each piece to make sure that all sides of the corn is covered with butter. (Tip: if using Olive Oil instead just mix half the seasoning mix and Olive Oil in a bowl then brush on the corn on all sides)
- Then place corn on baking pan lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
- Cover whole baking sheet with foil or wrap each corn individually with foil and place in the oven at 350 F for 30 minutes or longer depending on your desired preference. For example I like the kernels soft with a little char.
- Remove from oven add the remaining butter and honey from the skillet and garnish with Feta cheese and parsley! Serve immediately and Enjoy!
