Pork Chops with Apple Cranberry Orange Salsa

Ingredients

  • 4 Center Cut Pork Chops
  • Frozen Cranberries
  • 1 Apple Chopped
  • 1 Orange
  • 1 Onion
  • cup Apple Juice
  • 2 tbsp. Fresh Parsley
  • 1 tbsp. Fresh Sage
  • 2 springs Fresh Rosemary
  • Salt and Black Pepper (For Taste)
  • ¼ tsp. All Spice
  • 1 tbsp. Granulated Sugar
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Chop/Steak Marinade
  • 2 tbsp. Butter

Instructions

  • Marinate Porkchops with Steak/Chop Marinade for 1 to 2 hours in the fridge.
  • In a bowl, add Frozen cranberries, sugar, orange zest, orange juice and sit to the side on the counter until cranberries has unthawed.
  • Pat dry and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of allspice. Set Seasoned Chops to the side
  • Preheat oven at 350°.
  • Melt butter in a medium-sized skillet. then add the cranberries, onions, Rosemary, Sage, All Spice, and Parsley. Sautee for about 10 minutes on low to medium heat.
    Remove Cranberry mix from the skillet place it in a bowl and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add oil on medium to high heat. Searing the pork chops on both sides for 2-3 minutes.
  • Then place chops in a baking dish in a single layer. Now add the cranberry salsa on top of each pork chop. Then pour the apple juice all over the pork chops.
    Cover with foil and cook in the oven for 45 minutes. The pork chops should be fork-tender. Once the chops are done remove them from the oven and spoon the leftover juices over the chops.
